We work hard to be different
We are not a sales or fee driven consultancy. The ethos behind The CA4 Partnership is to provide high level specialist advice, backed by our unrivalled track record in making challenging issues simple – expertise with experience.
We work hard to build long term relationships with our clients and their other advisers. We believe only by becoming a valued and trusted part of their team, can we deliver the value and quality of service on which our reputation is built.
It is our intention to provide a more personal and direct service than is possible by larger firms, often preoccupied by their growth, rather than their clients’ interests. This ensures each and every one of our clients has their work undertaken directly by one of our experienced Directors, who will build a personal working relationship that instils confidence in the capabilities of CA4 Partnership.
Our History
Our story is a little complex and started in the late 1980’s when we were colleagues at Crosher and James, which at that time was the only specialist firm of capital allowances advisers in the whole of the UK.
Russell joined the team in 2001, just as Croshers became part of Davis Langdon, a multi- national construction consultancy. In 2010 Davis Langdon merged with the US based Aecom, a multi-disciplinary global consultancy.
Clive and Tim decided they wanted to work independently with a much more client focused role and in 2011 they set up The CA4 Partnership and were very pleased to be joined in 2013 by Satnam.
Kevin had left Croshers in 1997 to create a highly successful boutique tax consultancy, Capitus, where he was joined by Russell in 2009. Following the sale of Capitus to the legal services firm Gately, Kevin and Russell set up Capex Consulting in 2022.
In February 2025 Capex Consulting merged with The CA4 Partnership.
