Proposed Changes to Capital Allowances on Fixtures Announced

The Government has today issued their response to the consultation on Capital Allowances on Fixtures and have published draft legislation to enact these changes that will be included in the Finance Bill 2012. The Government has requested comments on the technical detail of this legislation by 10 February. We will certainly be responding both in writing and at the small working group that we have again been invited to attend.

The Government also announced further changes that will certainly impact on developers, owners and occupiers of property.
